"Said it was in stock, but it wasn’t"
I ordered a Dell laptop part because the site showed it was available, and I just figured I was good to go. Then a day later, I got a message saying it actually wasn’t in stock, which was frustrating since I needed it quickly and had already stopped checking other places.

I get that inventory can change, but don’t make it look like something is ready to buy if it isn’t. It just wasted my time and pushed back the repair, so I probably won’t order from them again unless they get their stock info sorted out

"Repair guide wasn’t much help"
I tried using this repair guide, but it was frustrating. The instructions were confusing and seemed to skip over important steps, like whoever put it together didn’t handle it with much care. I ended up giving up halfway through and looking for a better guide somewhere else.

"My order came in this really thin box..."
My order came in this really thin box with barely any padding, and the laptop part was just kind of rattling around inside. One of the corners ended up bent, which was frustrating. For what I paid in shipping, I expected it to be packed a lot better... at least with some proper protection or something.

"Pretty disappointed with the part quality"
I ordered a replacement part and honestly, the quality just wasn’t good. It felt cheap right away, didn’t fit like it was supposed to, and then, after only a few days, it stopped working completely. Definitely not planning to buy parts from here again.

I reached out because I had an issue with my order, and the replies I got were really short. Not much help. felt like they just wanted to get rid of me instead of actually fixing the problem. I had to repeat myself more than once and still never got a straight answer. Super frustrating. I probably wouldn’t order again if I thought I might need support

"It fit, but I had to double-check everything"
The part did work in the end, so I can’t complain too much. But the compatibility info wasn’t super clear, and I don’t really trust all that polished company wording that makes everything sound guaranteed. I had to do some extra checking myself before feeling sure it was the right one.

"Prices felt a little high to me"
well... I did find the Dell part I was looking for, so that part was easy enough. But the price felt a bit steep for what it was, especially after I checked a couple other places and saw similar used parts going for less.

Shipping was fine and the website worked without any issues, so I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience overall. I just came away feeling like the pricing could’ve been a little more fair

"I ordered the wrong part and figured returning..."
I ordered the wrong part and figured returning it would be straightforward, but it ended up being a headache. The refund took way longer than it should have, and every email I got was basically some vague promise that it was being looked into or would be handled soon. Nothing ever felt clear or actually helpful. After dealing with all that back and forth, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from Parts-People.com again

The parts got here fine and everything seemed alright, but shipping took a bit longer than I was expecting. It wasn’t awful or anything, just not exactly quick. The tracking worked mostly okay too, though it seemed to update kind of slowly sometimes.

"They Sent the Wrong Part"
I ordered a specific part, but somehow they sent me a different one. The label on the package matched what I ordered, so I’m guessing someone messed up when packing the box. I had to contact support and wait all over again, which was frustrating since I needed the part quickly.

"Support got it sorted, but it was a bit annoying"
Tech support did end up helping me fix the issue, so I’ll give them credit for that. But the replies were slow, and having to explain the same problem twice was frustrating. Overall, it was decent, just more annoying than it needed to be.
